India Today reports on a dual coordinated rocket attack from Hezbollah and Iran targeting Israel, the first such coordinated strike since the war began. Five rockets were fired from Hezbollah and one from Iran, all intercepted by the IDF according to initial reports, with no injuries reported by Magen David Adom, Israel’s emergency medical service. The report details operations from Magen David Adom’s underground dispatch centre, designed to withstand chemical weapons and missile attacks. Uri Shaham, Chief of Staff of Magen David Adom, explains the facility houses the national blood bank and breast milk bank several floors underground to protect supplies during escalations. He states the centre was built months before the current conflict in anticipation of a multi-frontal war with Iran, becoming operational in June 2025 when Israel faced ballistic missile attacks. Shaham notes 11 Israelis have been killed since the war’s start, with 1,200 people seeking hospital treatment.
