India organized events in 1300 cities globally to mark the 11th International Yoga Day. Actor Anupam Kher participated in a yoga event at New York’s Times Square with over 9000 people. Celebrations were held in London, with India’s High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami leading the event. IDPP jawans performed yoga at high-altitude border outposts. A special yoga session was organized on China’s Pearl River in Guangzhou.
