The observers will then engage in discussions with allies to determine the Legislative Party leader for the BJP. Speculation is rife that Eknath Shinde may be chosen, due to the upcoming BNC elections. However, the BJP is keen to ensure the position goes to a member of their own party. The process could take another 24 hours.
