India conducted Operation Sindoor, striking nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The operation, described as the biggest since the 1971 war, targeted camps of Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba. The Indian government stated, ‘These actions were measured, non-escalatory, proportionate and responsible.’ The strikes were in response to the recent Pahalgam massacre and lasted 25 minutes.
