Group Captain Subhanshu Shukla is leading the Axiom Space AX-4 mission to the International Space Station, marking India’s return to human spaceflight after 40 years. The mission includes 60 science experiments, the largest package by Axiom Space so far. Shukla, selected from India’s Gaganyaan program, will serve as the mission pilot for the Dragon spacecraft docking. The mission also involves potential outreach events with Indian students and a possible interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
