India’s Russian Oil Imports Hit 38% in November Ahead of Putin’s Visit | India Today News

As Russian President Vladimir Putin arrives in India for the 23rd Annual Summit, an India Today report highlights that Russian crude oil accounted for ‘38% of the total crude oil import in November’. Citing a Kepler report, the segment notes that while imports surged recently, ‘December imports are likely to fall by nearly half’ due to global factors. The report also underscores the ‘historic ties’ between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Putin, noting they have met 17 times in the last 11 years.
