Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated in the last 24 hours. Pakistan attempted to infiltrate Indian territory on May 8th, targeting multiple locations including Jammu airport. India successfully foiled these attempts using the S-400 missile system and indigenous Ashneer ADS. In retaliation, India launched strikes on Lahore and Peshawar. The conflict has resulted in 17 Indian civilian casualties. A Ministry of External Affairs briefing is expected to provide further details on the situation.
