India has launched a series of diplomatic and economic offensives against Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack. Prime Minister Modi has given the armed forces operational freedom to respond. The government is using multiple approaches including financial restrictions, water treaty suspension, and digital strikes. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that India will deliver the response the country expects. Key meetings have been held between the Prime Minister and top defence officials to discuss the situation. India is planning financial strikes against Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack. Sources say India will actively pursue getting Pakistan back on the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list. India is also expected to raise concerns over the IMF’s $7 billion aid package to Pakistan, alleging misuse of funds for terror activities. The move comes as India continues its diplomatic offensive, including suspending the Indus Waters Treaty and closing border checkposts.
