Pakistan has sought a $1.3 billion bailout package from the International Monetary Fund. India is seeking a pause on Pakistan’s attempt to get funds, citing Pakistan’s failure to crack down on terror. The IMF will make a decision on the loan at 7:30 PM. India’s representative, Mr. Parmeshwaran Iyer, will be on the IMF board for this decision. Pakistan secured a $7 billion bailout program last year and a $1.3 billion climate resilience loan in March.
