The video flies in the face of the desperate clumsy narrative being made – one that has witnessed wishy-washy version after version from the fire department on the aspect of the presence of a large amount of hard cash being unearthed from the home of the Judge. The video also raises serious questions about the decision of the Supreme Court collegium to have transferred the judge instead of taking a firmer view.
A day after Delhi High Court Judge Justice Yashwant Varma came under scrutiny following the recovery of unaccounted cash from his residence in Delhi, a video has surfaced showing piles of burned cash at his house. The stunning footage, accessed from inside Justice Yashwant Varma’s residence, is reportedly from the night of the fire incident which took place on March 14 and depicts officers wading through large stashes of cash. The video, establishes conclusively that the sitting High Court judge’s home did have large stashes of hard cash. A major investigation is underway as central agencies intensify their probe into a prominent real estate developer, whose connections to a fixer gang in the National Capital Region have come under scrutiny. Authorities have linked the developer to suspicious cash transactions, raising concerns about possible illegal activities. The case has also drawn attention to a well-known lawyer, whose involvement in the real estate dealings is being examined.
