India’s air defense system has shot down multiple kamikaze drones sent by Pakistan towards Amritsar. The drones, launched by Pakistani forces across the international border, were aimed at densely populated residential areas. India’s response, dubbed Operation Sindhu, has seen a calibrated escalation from targeting terrorist infrastructure to striking Pakistani military targets and airfields. Pakistan has reportedly fired high-speed missiles and begun military mobilization along the border.
