Indian Navy Welcomes Russia & US, Shows China, Pak The Hand | Maritime Exercises 2026
India is all set to host one of its three major international maritime events at Visakhapatnam in February 2026. The International Fleet Review (IFR) 2026, Exercise MILAN 2026, and Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS) Conclave of Chiefs. Among the 55 countries expressing their interest in being a part of the event, Russia and the United States have given their go-ahead on the invitation received. India does not invite Pakistan, China, or Turkey.
It is ironic to see how China, which has been in a fine partnership with India for a long time, does not get invited. While the US, which has been facing a conflict with India since US President Donald Trump applied heavy trade tariffs on India, still tries to maintain its friendship with India.
