Indian Astronaut To Carry Desi Delicacies On Historic Space Mission To ISS | India Today

The AX-4 space mission will see an Indian astronaut, Capt. Shubhanshu Shukla, journey to the International Space Station. He will carry Indian delicacies including mango nectar, Moong Dal Halwa, and Carrot Halwa for his 14-day stay. This mission marks the first time an Indian will visit the ISS, 40 years after Rakesh Sharma became the first Indian in space. The food selection also aims to pave the way for more Indian flavours in future space missions, including ISRO’s Gaganyaan.
