The Indian Army has responded to Pakistan’s ceasefire violations along the Line of Control with heavy artillery. Sources tell India Today that Pakistan is using 155mm howitzers, and India is retaliating in kind. The Indian Army reportedly has 52 caliber guns with extended range, capable of hitting targets over 50 kilometers away. There are reports of casualties and damage to houses on the Indian side. The situation has escalated from small arms fire to heavy shelling in various regions including Bimber Gali, Rajouri Punch, and Uri.
