On the India-US trade agreement, Congress MP Pramod Tiwari strongly criticized the government in Delhi.
He said it feels like India’s decisions are being announced from Washington DC instead of New Delhi. Tiwari questioned why Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not spoken clearly in Parliament about the deal.
He added that the silence is worrying and goes against India’s self-respect, sovereignty, and history. He demanded that the Prime Minister explain the truth about the trade agreement in the Indian Parliament and before the people of the country.
