In a big breakthrough in ties between the countries, India and China have decided to work on a settlement of the boundary question, and an expert group will be set up to explore an early solution to boundary delimitation. The change comes as relations between India and the US have hit an all-time low after US President Donald Trump doubled the tariffs on India to 50 per cent as a penalty for buying Russian oil.
