Amid escalating tensions in West Asia and continued threats around the Strait of Hormuz, India is closely tracking vessels caught in the conflict zone as the war enters day 25. Two Indian-flagged LPG carriers, Jagvasanth and Pine Gas, have crossed the Strait of Hormuz under Indian Navy escort and are expected to reach India between the 26th and 28th of March. Concerns over a possible LPG shortage are beginning to rise back home. India remains on high alert with a clear focus on safeguarding its vessels and ensuring uninterrupted energy supply through critical sea routes. The Indian Navy is in active operational mode, maintaining real-time surveillance in the Strait of Hormuz with strategic deployments, escort plans and constant communication with merchant ships through advisories and navigational support.
