India Today: Indus Waters Treaty Held In Abeyance, Pakistan's Water Supply Squeezed | Gaurav Sawant

India has taken concrete steps to reduce water flow to Pakistan after holding the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance. Gates at two major dams on the Chenab river, Bagliyar and Salal, have been closed, massively reducing downstream flow. Plans are underway to shut down water flow from the Kishanganga dam on Jhelum river. This action follows Pakistan’s lack of response to India’s 2023 letters requesting renegotiation of the treaty. Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated, "Water and blood cannot flow together." #induswaterstreaty #indiapakistan #waterdiplomacy #itwebvideos #chenabriver #jhelumriver #terrorism #indiatoday
