India Today Exclusive: Amit Shah's 160+ Seat Vow For Bihar, Warns Of 'New Jungle Raj' Under Tejashwi

In this exclusive interview, Union Home Minister Amit Shah discusses the Bihar Assembly elections, expressing confidence in an NDA victory and outlining his party’s development agenda while launching a sharp attack on opponent Tejashwi Yadav. ‘If their government comes, jungle raj will return with new faces, in a new form, with new clothes,’ stated Shah, invoking the memory of the Lalu Prasad Yadav era. Shah predicts the NDA will comfortably win over 160 seats, with both the BJP and JDU performing equally well. He detailed the alliance’s manifesto promises, including the creation of 1 crore employment opportunities and leveraging infrastructure built over the last decade. The Home Minister also reiterated the BJP’s commitment to building a grand temple for Goddess Sita in Sitamarhi, calling it a move to restore cultural pride. He dismissed the opposition’s criticism and reaffirmed that Nitish Kumar will remain the Chief Minister.
