From the Kargil Battle School, India Today reports on the Indian Army’s enhanced capabilities with new-generation, indigenously made weapon systems. The report features new all-terrain vehicles designed for harsh terrains and the firepower of the Bofors and Dhanush artillery guns, the latter having a range of 38 kilometers. It highlights the tactical training of infantry soldiers equipped with the latest assault rifles, including the made-in-India AK-203. The army has also inducted a variety of indigenous drones for surveillance, tactical operations, and logistics, particularly along the northern borders following the 2020 Galwan clash.
