On this India Today special broadcast, the focus is on India’s precision strikes on Pakistan’s air bases and terror camps in a major operation codenamed ‘Operation Sindoor’. The Indian Armed Forces targeted key locations including Sargodha, Bahawalpur, and Sialkot using the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile. Targets included terrorist facilities in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as well as airbases and radar stations deep inside Pakistani territory. The strikes were in response to recent terrorist attacks and aimed to send a strong message against state-sponsored terrorism. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh lauded the operation, highlighting India’s resolve to punish terror at its source. India has rejected US mediation attempts and plans to present evidence of Pakistan’s terror links at the UN.
