India Pakistan Tensions LIVE: Golden Temple Allows Air Defence On Premises To Thwart Pak Attacks
The Golden Temple in Amritsar has permitted the Indian Army to deploy air defense units within its premises. This decision comes after the success of Operation Door, where Pakistan reportedly targeted the Golden Temple and bordering Punjab cities with missiles and drones. The Indian air defense system, including Akash missiles and L-70 guns, successfully protected Amritsar and the Golden Temple from these attacks. The temple authorities also switched off the lights to improve visibility for drone detection.
