Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu elevated India-Israel relations to a Special Strategic Partnership during Modi’s visit to Israel. Modi’s visit lasted 26 hours but was described as comprehensive and productive. Netanyahu acknowledged India as a trusted defence partner, and both countries agreed to strengthen people-to-people contacts and skill exchange.
