India-Israel Partnership vs Alliance | Iran's 'War Or Peace' Warning | IndiaFirst With Gaurav Sawant

Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded a landmark visit to Israel, elevating bilateral ties to a Special Strategic Partnership. During the visit, sixteen agreements were signed across sectors including defence, agriculture, and cyber security. Addressing the Knesset, PM Modi reiterated India’s zero-tolerance policy for terror, while Israel’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sharon Haskell, noted the deep cultural bonds between the nations. Discussions focused on joint defence production and technology transfer. While PM Modi expressed support for a two-state solution, Minister Haskell voiced distrust of Iran ahead of Geneva talks. Concurrently, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told India Today that Tehran is prepared for both war and peace as nuclear talks with the P5+1 resume. Araghchi emphasized that Iran seeks a deal involving the lifting of sanctions without surrendering nuclear rights. The programme also analyzed the I2U2 and IMEC initiatives as drivers for regional stability, alongside a ground report from Tehran by Kalli Purie and Geeta Mohan exploring Iranian civil society amid ongoing West Asia tensions.
