The leaders inaugurated the ‘India-France Year of Innovation 2026’ and announced several key initiatives, including a joint venture for HAMMER missiles, an H-125 helicopter assembly line in Karnataka, and the Indo-French Centre for AI in Health. PM Modi emphasized that India’s digital infrastructure and talent pool are positioning the country as a global AI powerhouse, while both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to sovereignty, inclusivity, and innovation in the evolving technological landscape.
