The government, meanwhile, is poised to push through 17 bills during this session, standing firm against the Congress’s renewed demand for restoring Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood. This session — the first since Operation Sindoor — is expected to intensify the face-off between the Treasury benches and a resurgent Opposition.
