India First With Gaurav Sawant: Karnataka Government's Bizarre Excuses On Stampede In Bengaluru

A stampede at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore during the RCB IPL trophy celebration resulted in 11 deaths and 33 to 47 injuries. The stadium’s capacity is 35,000, but 2-3 lakh people reportedly turned up. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced a magisterial inquiry and Rs 10 lakh compensation for families of the deceased. The government claims the event was organized by the Cricket Association, with the state only providing security. Questions are being raised about administrative failure and lack of proper planning for crowd management. The Karnataka government and cricket authorities are facing criticism for inadequate arrangements despite anticipating large crowds.
