An 85-year-old Mumbai resident was deceived by fraudsters who allegedly claimed that the former’s bank account had been used for money laundering and transactions linked to a banned terrorist outfit. The man, a former head of department at an engineering college, lost Rs 9 crore and filed a complaint at the local police station.
