India First: Sir 2.0 Begins In 12 States And Union Territories, To Cover 51 Crore Voters
The Election Commission is conducting the second phase of Special Intensive Revision (SIR), the voters’ list clean-up exercise, in nine states and three Union Territories (UTs) from today. The move comes two days ahead of the first phase of the Assembly polls in Bihar, where the electoral exercise was held, and more than 68 lakh names were deleted from the electoral rolls after verification.
