The Enforcement Directorate has filed its first chargesheet in the National Herald case, naming Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Sam Pitroda and others. The ED alleges fraud of nearly 700 crore rupees and has announced plans to seize assets. The case revolves around the takeover of Associated Journals Limited by Young Indian, a company linked to the Gandhis. The Congress calls it political vendetta, while the BJP says the law is catching up. The court will hear cognizance arguments on April 25th.
