The Ministry of External Affairs in India issued a message of regret and assured proper security measures. Despite this, the Bangladesh government has formally recalled the envoys, indicating an escalation in diplomatic tensions between the two countries. The missions in Agartala and Kolkata are now without Bangladeshi representatives.
