Security forces have neutralized three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists responsible for the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack in the Dachigam forest area near Srinagar. Among those killed is Suleiman, also known as Moosa Fauji, a former Pakistan SSG commando identified as a main perpetrator. The attack involved singling out Hindu tourists and shooting them at point-blank range. According to the spouse of one victim, after the men were killed, the terrorists said, "jao Modi ko batao, what we’ve done." A joint force of the Indian Army, CRPF, and Jammu and Kashmir Police tracked the perpetrators for over 15 days. The operation utilized human intelligence, electronic surveillance, and drones to locate the terrorists in the dense forest.
