Describing the political climate, she states, ‘Look, there is an old saying that two swords can’t stay in one sheath’, referring to the power struggle between Khan and Munir. Niazi reveals that the family has had no information about Khan for ‘three to four weeks’ and alleges she was ‘beaten and dragged’ by a police officer during a recent protest. She warns that if Khan is harmed, those responsible ‘will never be able to save’ themselves from the public’s wrath.
