A ground report from Baseria Gaon village near the Israel-South Lebanon border reveals the impact of Israeli Defence Forces aerial bombardment. In the last 24 hours, approximately 60 structures were bombed by the IDF, which alleges these were Hezbollah premises. At one demolished house in the remote village, four people from a single family were killed in an aerial strike—a father, mother, and their two sons. The house has been completely destroyed and reduced to rubble. Across southern Lebanon, villages have faced two weeks of continuous bombing by the IDF, which has also cut off roads and bridges on the Litani River. The IDF claims the targeted structures are used by Hezbollah fighters. However, local residents state they have lived in these areas for generations and deny any connection to Hezbollah, alleging the strikes aim to erase villages and enable IDF capture of South Lebanon.
