American far-right activist Laura Loomer on Saturday read out a special message from US President Donald Trump at the India Today Conclave 2026, saying he loved India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Quoting Trump, Loomer also said that the US President will visit India soon. Known for her controversial remarks and hardline views on immigration, Loomer, a Trump loyalist, said the US President had called PM Modi a "fantastic leader and a good friend of mine" in his message.
