New details have emerged in the ongoing investigation into the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata. The CBI will conduct polygraph tests, also known as lie detector test, on four hospital employees to determine if they were involved in the crime, sources said.
The victim, a postgraduate trainee (PGT) doctor, was found dead in a seminar hall at the hospital on August 9. The accused, Sanjoy Roy, a civic volunteer with the Kolkata Police, was arrested the day after the incident.
