Hindus Targeted, Ashoka Emblem Desecrated: Arnab Goswami Calls Out Secular Brigade’s Silence
Prohibitory orders have been issued in Maddur town after a stone-pelting incident during the Ganesha idol immersion procession on Sunday night, September 7. At least eight people who were injured in the stone pelting have been discharged from the hospital after receiving medical care. According to police, the trouble started when the Ganesha procession, coming from Siddhartha Nagar, passed through Ram Rahim Nagar. As the procession moved past a mosque, stones were thrown at those dancing in the parade, leading to a retaliatory response. In a separate incident, a group at Srinagar’s Hazratbal Dargah damaged the national Ashoka Emblem on a newly installed marble stone. This incident occurred on Friday during Eid-e-Milad celebrations. Reports suggest that a crowd, upset about the national symbol being present in the shrine, intentionally took action to damage the emblem. Videos of the vandalism quickly spread on social media, sparking widespread anger among users who condemned the attack on a national symbol.
