The protests have resulted in clashes with security, causing injuries and a sense of fear among the Hindu community. Despite the unrest, there has been no outreach from the Bangladeshi administration. In India, the BJP has also protested in Kolkata over the arrest and the treatment of Hindus in Bangladesh. The BJP plans to protest at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission’s office.
