A cloudburst has been reported in Shrikhand Hills, Himachal Pradesh, triggering floods in Ganvi Khad and Kurpan Khad. Several bridges have been washed away in the region, impacting connectivity to various villages and pockets in the hills. The cloudburst has affected multiple areas across Himachal, including Kullu, Lahaul, Spiti, and Kinnaur. Rescue operations have commenced, with the army conducting efforts to assist stranded people. While the full extent of property damage is still being assessed, preliminary information indicates no loss of life. An official stated, "Fortunately, there was no loss of life reported as far as the administration is concerned." Unconfirmed reports also suggest some vehicles were washed away from Bathar. The challenging mountainous terrain makes dealing with flash floods particularly difficult, but the administration has swung into action.
