In Himachal Pradesh, a private bus accident in Bilaspur has resulted in the deaths of 15 people after it was caught in a landslide. The incident took place near the Ballu Bridge, where a large amount of mud and rocks came down on the vehicle. Rescue operations are currently ongoing at the site. According to an official statement, a total of 18 people have been found, with 15 confirmed dead and three transported to a hospital. It is estimated that there were about 25-30 people on the bus, but this is still being confirmed. "This is a very tragic incident. We pray to God that everyone is safe," an official stated at the scene. Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri visited the accident site and a government hospital to meet with those affected. The government is focusing on providing relief to the injured and the families of the deceased amid what has been a season of inclement weather for the state.
