Heavy monsoon rains have battered several cities across India, causing flash floods, cloudbursts, and landslides. Himachal Pradesh reported five deaths, with three cloudbursts, nine flash floods, and three landslides in 24 hours. Gujarat’s southern regions, including Navsari, face submerged roads and homes. In Kerala, flash floods have left two people missing. The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh has directed top officials to remain on high alert. NDRF teams are facing challenges in rescue operations due to difficult terrain and inclement weather.
