Security has been intensified in Sambhal ahead of Al-Wadah Namaz, the special prayer on the last Friday of Ramadan. The administration has instructed that prayers be offered only in mosques and idgahs, not on roads or rooftops. Rapid Action Force and police conducted a flag march outside Shahi Jama Masjid. This comes after violence erupted in Sambhal last November during a survey of the Mughal-era Jama Masjid. Drone cameras will be deployed to monitor the situation. #alwadahnamaz
