In a major development regarding the Goa nightclub fire tragedy, fugitive owners Saurabh Luthra and Gaurav Luthra are being brought back to India from Bangkok today. The brothers, who fled the country on December 7 after a fire at their club ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’ claimed 25 lives, were detained by Thai authorities. They are scheduled to land in Delhi at 1:45 PM, where they will be handed over to the Goa Police. The programme highlights that the brothers had opened 42 companies at a single address and questions remain about their escape route and local support. The police will produce them in Patiala House Court to seek transit remand.
