Goa Fire Tragedy: Luthra Brothers' 'Romeo Lane' Club Demolished at Vagator; Owners Flee to Thailand

In this special report, India Today’s Divyesh Singh reports from Vagator, Goa, where the state government has initiated the demolition of the ‘Romeo Lane’ club. This action follows a devastating fire at the ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’ nightclub in Arpora, also owned by the Luthra Brothers, which claimed 25 lives. Divyesh Singh confirms that the Luthra brothers, Saurabh and Gaurav, have fled to Thailand. He states, ‘Interpol has been alerted. A blue corner notice has already been issued to trace and get details of the Luthra brothers.’ The report highlights the illegal construction of the club on Goa Tourism land and the alleged negligence that led to the tragedy.
