A tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad has claimed the life of former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, who was in seat 12A. Remarkably, a passenger in seat 11A survived miraculously. The crash site was visited by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Aviation Minister. Air India has announced Rs 1 crore compensation for each victim’s family. The US Secretary of State has expressed grief and offered assistance. The incident has also affected 53 British nationals on the flight.
