Flood Fury On Indo-Pak Border: Last Indian Village Submerged, Pak Post Vacated

Flooding from the Satluj river has affected several villages along the India-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Fazilka district. The last village, Nathasinghwala in the Jalalabad area, is inundated, prompting evacuation announcements from the administration for the approximately 1200 to 1500 residents. According to a local, "There was an announcement yesterday. There is an announcement today as well." Across the border fence, a Pakistani post has been vacated due to the floodwaters, and the movement of Pakistani army and police has reportedly ceased. The situation in the border districts of Fazilka and Ferozepur remains concerning as authorities urge women and children to move to safer locations. Farmers on both sides of the border appear to be affected by the rising water levels. #punjabfloods #fazilka #jalalabad #indopakborder #floodalert #satlujriver #bordervillage #evacuation #floods #indiatoday #nathasinghwala #disaster #bordersecurity
