Flash floods caused by severe cloudbursts have led to large-scale destruction in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu and Kangra districts. Five people have died, with three still missing. Rescue operations are ongoing at the Priyadarshane hydro project in Dharamshala. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours.
