The Tourism Department of Jammu and Kashmir has organised the first ever international Kashmir Marathon. The event is aimed at promoting tourism and opening avenues for international events in the Kashmir Valley. This comes after the abrogation of Article 370 on 5th August 2019, with efforts from both the J & K State Government and the Central Government to boost Kashmir’s international profile for tourism and sports.
