At the Global Fintech Fest 2025 in Mumbai, RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra said India has a thriving fintech sector with over 10,000 fintech companies and more than 40 billion US dollars in investments over the past 10 years. He highlighted the sector’s huge growth and said the Reserve Bank of India is actively working with fintech companies to support them.
