The first day of the monsoon session of Parliament was marked by a key meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his office. The high-level meeting was attended by senior union ministers, including Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and BJP Chief J.P. Nadda, among others. According to sources, the agenda focused on the government’s strategy for the session. A significant point of discussion was the upcoming debate on ‘Operation Sindhu’, for which 16 hours have been allotted by the Lok Sabha’s Business Advisory Committee. This discussion will see leaders from both the government and opposition speaking on the matter.
